 Tasheena Acosta an Afro- Indigenous (African American & Choctaw) American native to NJ launched Canna Wonder Candles in 2022. For decades she  embraced her love for candles; Finding joy in their warm glow and enchanting scents. However, This love took a transformative turn when she learned about the harmful toxins present in many popular brands commonly found in local stores. As an experienced Interior Designer, dedicated mother of three and co-owner of a Home Improvement Company with her husband, Tasheena recognized the urgent need for healthier alternatives. Driven by a commitment to both safety and aesthetics, she embarked on a comprehensive two-year journey into the world of fragrance formulation. Her extensive research revealed the hidden dangers of traditional candle ingredients prompting her to develop a line of luxury candles that prioritize well-being.
